Additional downhill skiing at Durango Mountain Ski Area, which is 90 minutes away on easy traveling roads. Other winter fun includes cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and ice climbing. For relaxing after your winter adventure, there’s nothing like the natural hot springs in Pagosa Springs – a favorite spot for the early Native Americans who inhabited the area.
